Odin Health Validates NZ-Based FHIR Standards at HL7NZ FHIR Connectathon

March 19, 2025

Auckland, March 19, 2025 — Odin Health has successfully validated the Odin Engine’s support for New Zealand localised FHIR standards at the 2025 HL7NZ FHIR Connectathon, showcasing its ability to meet real-world interoperability needs within the New Zealand healthcare environment.

Tested in a live integration setting, the Odin Engine Cluster Edition —— with its built-in HL7 FHIR NZ Base implementation and terminology configurations —— enabled seamless data exchange with the National Health Index (NHI) FHIR API and facilitated communication with legacy EMR systems that lack native FHIR support without any modifications to the EMR interfaces

This successful demonstration highlights Odin Health’s commitment to delivering integration solutions that are both standards-compliant and locally adapted.

Odin is also exploring the use of AI to automate the transformation of healthcare standards. By experimenting with AI-powered integration workflows, Odin Health aims to improve development efficiency and enable smarter data exchange in the future.
