Hainan with a population of just over 10 million is the smallest and southern most province in China, consisting of various islands in the South China Sea. “Hainan”, the name of the province translates to “south of the sea” reflecting its position south of the Qiongzhou Strait, which separates it from the Chinese mainland.

The project launched during 2020, gradually covering those organisations within the province. As at January 2021, the platform covered 396 medical institutions and 944 village clinics, covering some 3.3 million outpatient visits , and handled over 3.3 million payments, 62,560 lab tests and 13,066 inpatient visits.
At the completion of the project, the Primary Medical Health Information system will become the largest deployed in a SaaS private cloud deployed in China, support the highest degree of information sharing and integration in China and support the highest degree of standardisation.
Zhao Gang, General Manager of R&D at Sichuan Jiuzhen Technology Co., Ltd says “The product has a user-friendly interface and provides convenient debugging and tracking capabilities. Odin Engine is very flexible and fast to configure - more than 130 interfaces were setup by our team in just 10 days. The Odin solution is backed with full support and documentation that was helpful in the early stages of the project”
